Hi to all,First I will say that the guitar arrived within 48 hours and I like that. The fit and finish are pretty nice, its a darkish sunburst finish. Ive had it 48 hours now. The first thing i did was make a template of an original tele heastock and scaled it to fit as much as possible the "meat" of the GTL headstock. Within a couple of millimeters it worked, it is finishing up nicely. The casual eye will not be able to instantly tell that its not a real tele headstock, so I consider that a plus. I just think the esthetics of the tele headstock go with the guitar 's shape (not trying to fake an original). 2nd point, the guitar is super light (basswood) I think is the body, and its really appreciated, I have a bad back and not into holding an ash body guitar for a couple hours straight. This one is light as a feather without being neck heavy. 3 barrels, cheapy strings, cheapy tuners, a plastic nut which measures 41.8 mm not standard tele 43 mm. (Good to know when you swap out the nut.) I'll update this by and by, have only played it unplugged and I will say that the sound unplugged is very nice for the parents (or roommate) of a guitar student, you can do your practice "unamped". I paid about $92.00 for it, I like it thus far, I consider it a good value. OH--the "gig bag" is a mere dust cover. But since you've saved a few bucks get a gig bag for it.Pros: Great quality for the price and feels great on my hands. I would really recommend this as a stater kit for guitar beginners. It comes with a starter strap, thin chord, and a bag to cover the guitar.Cons: the only critique I would give is the buzzing from the bridge of the guitar to the strings but I’ll be updating the strings and hopefully that stops the buzzing.
